Lamborghini Wines Rate Well With Wine Spectator Magazine

By: John Yardum

While relaxing the other evening and reading the March 31, 2002 issue of Wine Spectator Magazine I was surprised to find two Lamborghini Red wines listed and rated. Now I was probably one of the first people who sought out and acquired some of the original Lamborghini wines hand crafted by Ferruccio himself. They never really impressed me but the reds were certainly drinkable with Italian fare. The Rose and Bianco were never to my liking. In any case, it is my understanding that the winery is only producing red wines and according to Wine Spectator it looks like they are doing it right. Ratings in the mid to high 80's from Wine Spectator signifies a good, well balanced wine. That's enough of a recommendation for me to be on the lookout for these 2 reds.
